Report- Rummaging through this Fairy Vampire Twilight place it occurred to me that these people might be role-playing, why do you ask, well maybe it has something to do with this-

Tremere, Malkavian, Gangrel, Where do you belong?

“Cappadocian
Known among Cainites for millennia as the "Clan of Death," the Cappadocians are shunned even by their brethren for their macabre interests. Cappadocius himself was an iconoclastic priest in life, and continued his search for the secrets of life, death and what lay beyond after his Becoming. His childer have continued his research, and through their efforts Cainites have learned much about the nature of their existence. Still, the secretive nature of the clan has caused as many people to fear them as respect them. In vampiric society, Cappadocians often fill the role of advisors to the leaders of a sect. They are respected for their insight and wisdom, and largely trusted due to their lack of interest in earthly power.

In the middle ages, the Cappadocians Embraced a small cabal of necromancers, in order to further their necromantic studies. These new vampires developed a Discipline of their own, Necromancy, although it was initially far from polished. It was with the hope of the Cappadocians that this shared knowledge would help break down the final barriers of Death, revealing the truths they have sought for millennia. They were repaid by their progeny, now called the Giovanni, by being almost extinguished as a Clan.

Nickname: Graverobbers

Appearance: Most Cappadocians spend their nights engaged in study of death, so it is not surprising that many of them affect the dress of scholars and monks. Long dark robes, simply cut and unadorned, are most common, though some also wear carved and painted masks, fashioned to look like skulls or death-throes.

Background: Cappadocians select neonates from scholars and the priesthood, though occasionally an executioner, tomb-robber, thief or Crusader is chosen for the Becoming. A love of learning and insatiable curiosity are the utmost importance if the neonate is to be able to carry out the clan's research.

Brujah
The Brujah are inheritors of a majestic and ancient legacy, which is unfortunate. Tonight's Brujah seem less like a clan and more like a mob. Punks, terrorists, revolutionaries, criminals, gangbangers and the like make up the Brujah; the clan seems to be united in nothing save its contempt for the institutions of vampire and mortal society. Well, this is not entirely true; Clan Brujah are among the most savage vampires, and the most trivial slight or annoyance may trigger a howling Brujah frenzy.

The Brujah's disunity keeps the clan tenuously in the Camarilla, but Brujah thugs routinely defect to the anarchs, the better to strike against their hated elders. Even the "tamer" Brujah annoy the elders and princes routinely through acts of defiance and rebellion. Despite their recalcitrance, however, Brujah are valued as warriors; they are perhaps the most dangerous vampires in a straightforward battle. To anger a Brujah is nigh suicidal - and Brujah are notorious for their tempers.

Grangrel
Of all vampires, the Gangrel are perhaps closest to their inner nature. These nomadic loners spurn the constraints of society, preferring the comfort of the wilderness. How they avoid the wrath of the werewolves is unknown; perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the Gangrel are themselves shapeshifters. When a mortal speaks of a vampire changing into a wolf or a bat, she is probably speaking of a Gangrel.

Like the Brujah, Gangrel are fierce warriors; unlike the Brujah, Gangrel ferocity does not stem from anarchic rage, but from animalistic instinct. Gangrel have a keen understanding of the Beast in their souls, and prefer to spend their nights in communion with the animals whom they so emulate.

Malkavian
At first glance, the members of Clan Malkavian do not appear to be a clan at all; they are chosen from all races, creeds and social strata. But Malkavians, regardless of mortal standing, bear one disturbing commonality: They are all quite mad. Whether from the clan's choice of victims, the circumstances of the Embrace, or some property in Malkavian blood itself, all Malkavians go insane shortly after the transformation (if they were not insane to begin with).

Accordingly, many Malkavians find themselves pariahs, ostracized by a vampiric society fearful of their random urges and capricious whims. Wiser Kindred, however, prefer to keep the madmen close at hand: Behind the Malkavians' lunatic cackling and feverish rantings lie smatterings of insight, even wisdom.

Nosferatu
Caine's childer are called "The Damned," and no vampires embody this more than do the wretches of Clan Nosferatu. While other vampires still look human and may travel in mortal society, Nosferatu are twisted and deformed by the curse of vampirism. To put it bluntly, the Embrace transforms them into hideous monsters. Unable to walk among humans, Nosferatu must dwell in subterranean sewers and catacombs. Other vampires revile Nosferatu, considering them disgusting and interacting with them only when they must.

Because of this stigma, however, Nosferatu are survivors par excellence. Few creatures, mortal or vampire, know the city's back alleys and dark corners like the Nosferatu do. Additionally, Nosferatu have refined the crafts of sneaking and eavesdropping to fine arts; if anyone or anything has the latest dirt on mortal or vampiric society, it is the Nosferatu. Finally, millennia of shared deformity and abuse have fostered strong bonds among the monsters. Nosferatu forego the squabbling and feuds ubiquitous to the other clans, preferring to work in unison. You mess with one, you mess with 'em all - and that can get messy indeed.

Toreador
The Toreador are called many things - "degenerates," "artistes," "poseurs," and "hedonists" being but a few. But any such mass categorization does the clan a disservice. Depending on the individual and her mood, Toreador are alternately elegant and flamboyant, brilliant and ludicrous, visionary and dissipated. Perhaps the only truism that can be applied to the clan is its members' aesthetic zeal. Whatever a Toreador does, she does with passion. Whatever a Toreador is, she is with passion.

To the Toreador, eternal life is to be savored. Many Toreador were artists, musicians or poets in life; many more have spent frustrating centuries producing laughable attempts at art, music or poetry. Toreador share the Ventrue's love of high society, though not for them the tedium of actually running things - that's what functionaries are for, darling. Toreador know that their place is to captivate and inspire - through their witty speech, graceful deeds, and simple, scintillating existence.

Tremere
Even among vampires, the insular Clan Tremere bears a reputation for treachery. This reputation is well earned; the Tremere were formerly a cabal of human wizards who, hungering for immortal life, wrested the secrets of vampirism from unwilling Kindred. Such vile deeds earned the clan a sinister reputation; even today, certain vampire clans would love nothing better than to destroy the entire Tremere line.

Nonetheless, Clan Tremere holds a place in the Camarilla, for its members were instrumental in suppressing the Inquisition and supporting the Masquerade. Then, too, the Tremere have proved themselves dangerous enemies - and powerful allies. Tremere still practice a version of the arcane arts they studied in life, and so these "warlocks" use their sorcerous powers in service to the Camarilla almost as much as they use the Camarilla in service to themselves.

Ventrue
Elegant, aristocratic and regal, the Ventrue are the lords of the Camarilla. It was Clan Ventrue that provided the cornerstone of the Camarilla, and it is Clan Ventrue that directs and coaxes the Camarilla in its darkest hours. Even in the modern age, the majority of princes descend from Clan Ventrue. The Ventrue would, of course, have things no other way. In the tradition of noblesse oblige, the Ventrue must lead the other clans for their own good.

In ancient nights, Ventrue were chosen from nobles, merchant princes or other wielders of power. In modern times the clan recruits from wealthy "old-money" families, ruthless corporate climbers, and politicians. Although Ventrue move in the same social circles as the Toreador, they do not fritter away their existences in frivolity and idle chatter. The Ventrue proudly wear the privileges of leadership, and stoically bear its burdens. Thus has it always been; thus shall it always be.”

For those of you who aren’t RPers let me tell you right here and right now that these are the types of vampires that are available to roleplay in a White Wolf RPG publication called Vampire the Masquerade. Pure. Roleplay.

Surely they don’t think a roleplay publication is real right?

“I belong to the Toreadorclan. Aways has always will.”

“Toreador-clan for me. I recognise a lot a things in the text. By the other clans much less recogniseing if I look to myself. I belong certainly to the Toreador-clan.”

“i belong to the Toreador clan i'm greatful for that”

“I belong to the tremere clan.. have for a long time...”

Oh yeah, they’re Serial.

I really couldn’t leave it there though, I had this great suspicion that they were very misguided roleplayers; maybe it was the fact that there chat is dedicated to roleplay, or maybe it’s that fact that on an age poll I compiled-

-Over 92% of the “true vampires” were 16 or below “in appearance” (a.k.a. they were just plain 16 or below).
-Of those in the “true vampires” we had a 15 year old claiming to be 2000 years old, a 14 year old claiming to be 729 years old, a 13 year old claiming to be 1000 years old and a 12 year old claiming to be at least 300 years old. Yup you heard me; a FRIGGIN 12 year old!!!
-80% of all vampires in the poll were 16 or below in age.

After a while of this your Lt. Decided it was time, yup, Fairies and Vampires say hello to my slightly fluffy alter ego “Lady Fury” because i’m going native!

Asides from instantly asking if they were roleplaying I also browsed around and added some other posts. Remember that girl who was sobbing about the fact that she was going around declaring to people that she was a fairy and no one believed her (gee I wonder why)? Well I thought i’d contribute there too-

“Does it really matter if they believe?
What difference will it make to you?

I generally try to stay "in the closet", if you advertise yourself openly as a mythical creature than you're going to get riduculed (unless you can back it up reasonably or have very wide-minded individuals), it's just the way we are.”

Oh yeah, real mature from lil’ Pookie Jr. there. I also got this reply as well but I couldn’t decipher it through the derogatory language used-

“shut it u dont know if some1 is or not wait d o u mean that dragon dude”

Again, English, learn it. Oh and being called a dude seems to be a repetitive occurrence on this place. Apparently I sound like a man....thanks for that one.

Anyways, onto Abbadon-

Case Crazy Abbadon

Remember I told you that I posted a topic asking if they were roleplaying? Well who happened to reply but our dear psycho Abbadon. For those who don’t remember him he was the guy who had this to say about humans-

“I have never truly liked there kind sense the dawn of man. They are fool hearted and mislead sheep. But I cannot fault them they do what they are meant to. I think they are failures on this earth for the harm they do to this place and the actions of a few do not out way the many thousands of years of wrong. They are self destructive race that will seek only to enviably destroy its self.

Abaddon”

And this

“Humans are vary earth bound and vary short existence only nonhuman persist longer then a single life.

Abaddon”

Asides from the fact that he totally disregards the multiple accounts of past-lives in people he is also out on a personal vendetta to kill, destroy an otherwise hate all humans and believes that he’s lived an almost infinite lifespan which gives him the right to believe this.
On his dragon topic a discussion with him went further into his human-hating views-

“I will never accept them... I will hate them for all time.... Indeed you greatly misunderstand how much my hate fuels my actions and how far I will take it... I have tired to destroy them all before this time I'm taking a different approach..... I have killed then before I will do so again... I killed my own brother for what he did with them..... They disgust me...... Humans are a weakness I cannot afford”.

So, yeah, he hates humans more than most on there but, not only claims to have killed humans, he also encourages the destruction of all humans. This by the way is for reasons such as “They kill baby dragons and the old magic blah blah, whine, whine, mythical irrelevant crap”. How a twenty-something year old (from what he’s said he “appears” to look like, so how old he actually is) could get this much pent up and deluded crap into their system I simply do not know.

What’s worst is he actually knows how to structure an argument and, if you have the warped logic that people on this site seem to have, a half decent argument. If you want proof of this I am going to post up discussions I had with him in the quotes section.

As can be seen in our quotes section of this board, this guy believes that vampires are actually fallen gods- a.k.a he takes judo-chiristian mythology and warps it in the weirdest way so that it manages to centre around him being some great big awesome power force. Don’t believe me? Well here’s some evidence courtesy of logistics-

“I am a fire. I am wrath. I am a gatherer of knowledge I am a seeker of truth. I am one who walks this world alone. I am the demon with an angels face. One who destroys the hearts and twist the souls all those who come too close. I am a self taught master of energy manipulation and of spell creation. I am not human, I am called a vampire, I am a Demon, I am a Watcher, I am an Old One.”

“You should then understand something. The terms angels and demons is only existent in juedo-christain beliefs before that there where other names for them. That would be true. Most fallen died but most demons I have encountered are descended from the fallen and removed from the views ever set in place by them. The whole term of hell is just a glorified underworld of Hades”.

Yeah he said Hades, trust me this guy bounces around with mythology and terminology more than Tigger on catnip. But for most people on the group Knowledge Seekers which HE runs and where only HE is right (not what he says, but try and contest him and your views are instantly overruled by his “infinite truth”) he seems to have managed to collected a following, convinced them that they are something special, powerful and far superior to humans and basically recruited them in an almost cult like fashion.

Surely that’s not true right? WRONG?

Your Lt. Here is living proof as she received a PM from Abbadon shortly after contesting many of his views (very timidly I might add). What was this PM you ask? Well for the sake of full disclosure here we go-

“I can assure you that before we where angels or demons that we where gods and that we did indeed fall to hell and become the demons of legend... I know this because there was a fall... Indeed demons did come from beings humans call angels but its just a name just as the fall is just a name it was a casting from the heavens to the abyssal plan. There is something different about you.. You sound male, yet you are female you have power but you are not exactly what you think you are you should speak to Uriel...”

Enthesis Mine.
Told you I kept on getting called male; the only reasoning besides this assumption of me being male by the way seems to be the fact that I can forge a coherent sentence and use grammar to a moderate degree. Now i’m no femmekin and I don’t really consider myself to be a feminist but when using English in a semi-competent manner indicates male to a person you’ve really got to worry about their personal ideologies. When they associate good spelling and grammar to not-human/superior mythological creature then my advice is FUCKIN’ RUN.

Unfortunatly this was too good a logistical scoop for me not to further explore so, after a rather long winded and ridiculous discussion (involving looking at a photograph of my eyes) this is what Abbadon and Uriel had to say to me-

Uriel
“sadly, I dont think dragon.. more Fae...”

Abbadon
“I see no dragon in your eyes I see Fae, dark Fae far removed from human. But your vary earthy now..”.

Now recently we’ve had alot of people come to this forum (Otherkin.com) and claim to us that a friend had told them that they were kin and that they had no reason to doubt them. We might have wondered what people would do this and why people would believe them.

Well these are the types of people who manage to convince people that they are a different type of kin, the reason people have no reason to doubt them is probably because these people use a rather competent level of English, know how to back up their arguments (albeit with no logical sense or reason but they manage to patchwork together something half-convincing) and they know how to make it sound that they are old and wise and know what they’re talking about.

These people may sound convincing to newly awakening kin or wishkin who are reaching for any straw that they can find but I am warning everyone right here and now that, although these types of people manage to glorify themselves and their case, these people are Bullshitters nonetheless.

Lt. Dragonslorefury,
Increasingly worried by the fluff she comes across and rather disturbed at the almost cult-like recruiting of troubled people.
End Report.

P.S. Please tell me I don’t sound like a guy!!?!
